Report:
With the lockdown of all civilians and troopers now in effect, due to the COVID19-pandemic, a small band of troopers were assigned to deliver a message of well wishes to some of those civilians hit hardest by the lockdown and removal of hospital visitation benefits.
With support gained from Disney post-production, this subsequently evolved into a MayTheFourth moment which is expected to reach a wider audience of civilians. So after some late changes in the editing bunker the final version presented to Disney can be seen here – https://youtu.be/tTR7KKTGaak

A last minute request came in to assist with a competition launch via a virtual video troop ahead of MayTheFourth.
Homes were re-arranged to create suitable recording studios, with support from family members where required.
Scripts were provided by the client, which the actors delivered with the style and grace we’ve come to expect.

Troop Report
Troopers arrived with much speculation as to whether the troop would go ahead, this was just prior to the great corona pandemic, we all agreed to troop but for each of us to interact with the kids as much or as little as we felt comfortable with.
The buzz was great on arrival, this been Kelsey’s old primary school and somewhere she continues to teach made this one special.
The fete was mostly to raise funds for the school, there were stalls that each class had made, rides and even a member of the force.
We wandered the school grounds to plenty of holograms with students and staff alike, high fives and fist bumps.
We all had a great day.

IMF Classic Car Day 2020 Troop Report

Report:
This was the 2nd year in a row this event was attended by the 501st Legion Knightfall Garrison, last year was 35 degrees plus, however this year had a great turnout with over 400 cars, event village was popping and everyone was excited to get a photo with their car and a few troopers.
We were also very well looked after by the IMF team that fed us burgers and sausages after trooping.

Report:
Trooper arrived at Bundoora park to raise money for bushfire relief.
After a quick car park change troopers joined other characters from princesses to Marvel characters for photo opportunities. Dean Rankine and Face painting was also a popular hit for the kids along with some outdoor games with the kids.

21st Birthday Party Troop Report

Report:
This was a 21st Birthday Party for a huge Star Wars fan including their family. It was a surprise birthday party organised by the father who was also a huge star wars fan. Troopers arrived on location and parked down the road, once contact was made with the organiser troopers quietly sneaked into one of the bedrooms in the house.
Once troopers got changed and the pizza’s had arrived, a quick announcement was made and it was a huge surprise to the Birthday Boy who was very excited along with all his friends and family there with him. All in all it was a great night.

Supanova 2020 Melbourne 6-8 March 2020

Troop Report Supanova 6-8 March 2020

In a Galaxy not so far away, Planets and Death Stars aligned for the annual gathering of friend and foe, the Jedi and Dark Lord, Stormtroopers and Manalorians, Imperial Officers and Jawas… creatures of all walks… for Supanova Melbourne 2020

Troopers worked tirelessly to get the impressive displays and back drops ready for the weekend.

With the imminent threat of Corona Virus threatening the Galaxies far and wide, many creatures from all walks braved the conditions and attended the event. Many dressed to impress, others dressed to avoid contamination. Some were just wandering around asking, what happened to the all the toilet paper? -No, the Jawas had nothing to do with it! Although, the Jawas may or may not have stolen Ron Weasley’s car for a joyride, during the weekend.

The entire event went by smoothly and The Child (Baby Yoda) escaped unscathed, as celebrations rang through the Galaxies and of course the Cantina! No lives lost. Enemies called a truce and united for a cause…The CFA fundraiser. Which was a huge success raising much needed currency to a total of… $1221.51

The Dark Lord and his army may have left this galaxy for now, as pressing matters await, but no doubt will return for the next big mission, anhialation of COVID-19. Until then, stay safe troopers… The Force is with you!

Report:
What an awesome day and a fantastic start to my first troop with the 501st.
All troopers arrived well before time which gave us time to just chill and relax before the long troop ahead.
With 3 Stormtroopers, 2 Scout Troopers, 1 Tank Trooper, 2 Tie Reserve Pilots, 1 Imperial Officer and 1 Tie Pilot we had a great representation of the Knightfall garrison.
As soon as we kitted up we headed towards the event start line where we had numerous photos taken with little kiddies, groups of kiddies and the odd adult kiddie thrown in for good measure.
We all participated in the first 1km walk, including a few photo ops along the way followed by encouraging runners/walkers at the beginning and end of the subsequent events.
Plenty of stalls, entertainment, animals and cheerleaders kept all participants engaged through the day.
All in all it was fantastic event.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my fellow garrison members below for making my first troop a fun and non-stressful event.
I look forward to trooping with you all again, plus others I have not met yet, in the upcoming events

Report:
The weather was poor upon arrive, rain came down side ways.

As troopers turned up the weather eased off and only had scattered showers during the event. The rain to deter a few people but was a great turnout none the less.

The band shifted from the make shift stage to inside the hosts’ factory.

We made a total of $283.40 as Knightfall and the event made around $2500.

Thanks for the support and please know that the guys from T&M Customs were wrapped and the general public kept asking where we all went after everyone packed up and left.

Tim’s Whacky World’s

The Director was very excited and happy to see his First Solo Exhibition standing amongst his greatest achievements. Even without the Empire not there it was a memorable night. Joined by Friends, Family,
fellow artists. Everyone was astounded by his elaborate costume.

About 25 may by 30 were in attendance.
The evening kicked off slow to start off with, later as things progressed along it got more interesting. On the opening night – 3 of his artworks were sold, along with about 10 colouring books and 10 badges. People were saying they’ve never seen an Exhibition like it before, was very honoured and proud to have done this.

Plenty of Alcohol, finger food provided (should has supplied Imperial Cookies) – may next time.

7pm onwards the speeches took place, a friend of Tim’s (a local educator) was dressed up as David Bowie.
addressing how Tim draws everyday, he is inspired with Superhero comics, but prefers to remain original with his artwork.

A big special bonus the guest speaker wanted everyone to start an official launch countdown (like at Cape Canaveral)
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – Lift Off (Tim’s Whacky World’s officially open)

He never gives up on his work, always working hard with not only inspiring himself but also to inspire others with his unique whacky styles.

The artist thanked and acknowledged everyone for turning up, including all gallery staff. He said “Thank you for letting me become the chosen one” to be the first to start 2020 showing my unique talents.

He was joined by few more suited up for Cosplay to make the evening more exciting, in total 5 cosplayers.

The exhibition also boosted up my confidence more, “This is the beginning of many more things yet to come”
Next time I’ll include some Star Wars artwork.
