Atmosphere – Enjoyable / lots of happy little ones
Mission Status – Completed

Report:

Director Krennic was there by himself without his security guards or Troopers standing by. Orson felt a bit uneasy start off with but as the event progressed along things went quite nicely. Lots of people did not who he was or what he was doing here. The Director was more than happy to be in photos with those who wanted photos with him.
Lots of happy little ones filled with excitement, entertaining themselves on the Jumping castles, face painting, sitting with Santa Claws asking what they’d want to see under the Xmas trees, lots more activities.

Lots of Christmas Carol Music provided by the local musician group of Wodonga (think it was)
Frosty the Snowman, Jingle Bells, Rudolf the Red nose Rein deer and many more.

The Main attraction – Santa Claws arrived in style on a Harley Davidson – brought smiles to the all little ones.

One main attraction was a group of Motorcycles – The Director struck at opportunity and piloted 1 in command.

It was a good atmosphere, hard to tell how many were there in total – hundreds I’d say.

Think that was all to report.

Surprise was achieved with the assistance of the boy’s uncle. And the locals were mightily impressed by the presence of two stormstroopers. Report

Protection duty for the recently landed Tie Fighter at the 2020 Australian open was the order of the day.
The original pilot was MIA when our team arrived (potentially watching the local sporting matches the locals call tennis).
On locating our contact on the ground, who’d disguised themselves as one of the locals, they quickly ensured the team were taken care of.
Change space was limited, so initial splitting up of the team was required. Some remaining in the destinations location – to keep an eye on citezens movements – the others returning to their transport for changing into imperial costumes.
While the heat from the planets only sun attempted to de-rail the operation, the team scoured the location, and sourced some excellent contacts and potential new recruits.
The two jawas were also sent on a side mission to assess the g-force training machine present on site.
The test was successful, however, the jawas may wait for someone else to volunteer first next time….

Casualties: None, although heat exhaustion was starting to set in so some troopers rested on the last leg of the mission.
Injuries: None
Armour damage: None
Happy People: Lots
Mission status: Completed

Report

Melbourne provided a lovely sunny saturday as we (myself and husband) arrived at 8am out the front of the Royal Exhibition Building. Proceeding to a back room we geared up and went out in batches to entertain both the crowd inside and the queue outside. I found that once we stopped for a photo with someone it seemed to encourage others to do the same. I spent a lot of time outside with the queue getting high 5’s from kids and stopping for photos. We had coin rattlers raising money for special kids which seemed to go quite well. At around 11.30am we did some group photos around the back of the building on the stairs which generated a lot of curiosity and photo taking from passes by. All in all a fun and successful day!

Casualties: None
Injuries: None
Happy People: Lots
Unhappy People: None that I noticed

WEATHER: Mild, cloudy, dry with cooling breeze. Blanket security protection provided.

# OF PEOPLE ATTENDING: Approx. 100

Report:
Imperial troop transport arrived promptly at 09:30 with troopers disembarking to assess fields of coverage to secure perimeters, deploy blanket protection for all imperial citizens, confront and devastate all rebel incursions.

Due to low volumes of imperial citizens a command decision was issued to delay boots on the ground for a 10:30 deployment.

The mood was one of calm with local food merchants quietly preparing for the day. The first arrest was made by our unshakeable imperial troops when a Muja Fruit trader was discovered trading in stolen credit chips.

A smaller than expected attendance did not deter our troopers who proceeded in an authoritative manner dealing with all arriving citizens, checking ID’s and instructing loyal citizens to be wary and report any suspicious rebel activity. Many were granted the opportunity to capture holograms with their stalwart imperial protectors.

A lone Jedi was swiftly brought to the heel of justice during a routine ear wax inspection with his lightsaber being quickly dismantled and rendered ineffective.

Due to reduced activity the scheduled troop transport was confirmed for early departure by 30 minutes, the protective haven was dissolved, our troopers escorted the detained prisoners onto the transport satisfied in the knowledge they had foiled another ineffective incursion by rebel scum and local riff-raff.

Injuries – Nil to report.

Armour Repairs: TX-10346 suffered minor damage to upper left thigh armour while disarming the rebel Jedi in relation to enforcing Imperial Order 87 (head lice & ear wax inspection).

Mission Status – Complete.

The mission was split over two days, with two separate KFG contingents taking control of this newly constructed location.

Welcoming locals and posing for photo’s was the order of the day and we did not disappoint.

The staff seemed just as excited as those who visited with many taking a detour to say hi once our teams had been spotted.

zero casualties, however fatigue was definitely setting in as the teams neared the end of their TROS tours.

Kidsflix Hawthorn Dec 7th

Event – Kidsflix Hawthorn
Location – Rivoli Cinema Camberwell

Date – Sat 7th Dec 2019

Troopers:

TK-27120 Gascan (Andy)
TB-33233 Thundercat (Daniel)
TS-18969 DarthStevius (Steve)

As the only burning star of this planet rose for the day, the troopers began to check the layout of their assignment.
Having worked together previously, the briefing was more of a formality, but never-the-less completed on time.
The mission was clear – ensure all visitors to the event were smiling, and encourage as many captures on image devices as possible.

Due to the early start, there were only a few non-participants in the vicinity, who were swiftly moved along as required.
All officially invited visitors – younglings and their gaurdians – were safely admitted to the film screening without drama.

We believe the film was an insight into the planet Hoth (certainly lots of talk about it being Frozen).

Troopers were able to vacate the premises having completed another successful mission.

Report
Upholding the longstanding tradition of attending midnight screenings of the recent Star Wars films, that tradition came to an end (for now) with the final chapter of the most recent Star Wars trilogy, Rise of Skywalker. Organised again by Star Walking Inc., members from the various Star Wars costume groups (501st Knightfall Garrison, Rebel Legion and Mando Mercs) mingled amongst the crowd of SW fanatics, some of whom were also wearing their own costumes, which included two Wookiees, a very young Rey, a Sith Trooper and a Twi’lek. At the start of the troop it was relatively quiet crowd-wise, but as midnight grew closer the crowd multiplied, and you could see why, given that the screening was almost fully packed. It was a very late night and quite a warm one to be wearing costumes (30°C+, though thankfully it was at least airconditioned inside the cinema complex!) but overall it was a relaxed and fun event.
(Apologies if I’ve omitted anyone from the troop list. Let me know if I’ve missed you and I’ll add you in.)

Injuries: None to report
Armour repairs: None reported
Mission status: Completed

REPORT:

“Intercepted transmissions revealed the planned demonstration of historical records of galactic history circa 35 ABY.”

IMAX Melbourne continued their tradition of Star Wars movie midnight releases with the final chapter in the Skywalker saga. Many members of Knightfall Garrison joined the festivities and helped celebrate the event by providing photo opportunities for moviegoers willing to stay up late to find out how the saga ended.

The troops milled about the lobby and headed up to the First Order TIE Fighter parked outside the IMAX entrance, entertaining guests and the public in the area. We eventually ran out of time and headed back inside to de-kit and enjoy the movie with the company of friends and family. All up it was a great night out!

INJURIES: None to report.

ARMOUR REPAIRS: None reported.
